Dr. Scott Brian Woody, DO

Dr. Woody completed his medical school degree in 2000. He earned a D.O. or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. There are only between 7-10% of US physicians that are both general physician and specialists. Dr. Woody is a double board certified physician in both Family Medicine and Holistic/Integrative Medicine. This combination of certifications and training allows him to use the best medicine available to treat his patients, both with traditional or Western medicine and holisitic or integrative medicine. Dr. Woody can now offer his patients treatments and procedures for niche areas and hard to treat areas like hormone imbalance, hemorrhoids and nail fungus. Dr. Woody can do in-office surgeries or non-surgical treatments with lasers and state-of-the-art equipment to get his patients the best results!
Dr. Woody has been treating hemorrhoids for 14 years and offers “laser” or infrared coagulation (IRC) as well as vacuum-assisted rubber band ligation (RBL) treatments. His patients …experience great results with very effective procedures and have little to no down time or discomfort. Treatments are done right in the dedicated office facility and performed by a physician. We do not use nurses or PAs to perform our procedures. Also, we will not use surgery centers or hospitals to perform our procedures like most surgeons and gastroenterologists. This usually saves our patients hundreds of dollars per treatment. Dr. Woody has 14 years of experience in holistic & integrative medicine. He has over 2 years of specialized treatment in hormone imbalance using bio-identical hormone pellets and has performed over 1,000 hormone pellet procedures. His treatments for hormone imbalance are safe, high quality, effective and bio-identical or “natural.” We use the same molecules of hormones people have in their bodies naturally. We do not use fake or synthetic hormones because these can cause a multitude of problems and we consider them to be “high-risk.” Bio-identical hormones used in pellet form provide the body with 24 hour a day sustained levels for months. This allows for cure or large improvements to many problems such as osteoporosis, erectile dysfunction, low libido, myalgias or muscle pains, joint pains, fatigue, disrupted sleep, mid-day burn out, lack of focus, memory disturbance or forgetfulness, lack of mental clarity or focus, prevention of and many other issues.
Nail fungus is a hard to treat condition, gross to many and certainly a frustration for patients. Dr. Woody has 5 years of specialized treatment of onychomycosis with laser (foot and nail fungus) and hundreds of patients have been treated successfully. Using a combination of therapies, including a new European laser protocol and a focus on educating patients around the eradication of all fungal exposures we offer the best solutions in the Denver metro area.
