Dr. Scott Glaser

Dr. Glaser is a co-founder and President of the Pain Specialists of Greater Chicago and has seen it grow into a preeminent practice in Chicago. He is well respected within the field of interventional pain management and has published, lectured, and taught extensively. He has been elected multiple times by his peers to the national board of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) by his peers and has held multiple positions in the Illinois Society of Interventional Pain Physicians including President.
Dr. Glaser has achieved all of the important certifications in the field of Interventional Pain Management. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians. This is acknowledged to be the highest level of credentialing for the field of interventional pain management. He is also a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice, a certification given by the World Institute of Pain and is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in pain …management.
Dr. Glaser serves as an Instructor for ASIPP teaching other physicians minimally invasive spinal procedures on cadavers at nationally recognized ASIPP courses. He also presents continuing medical education lectures at ASIPP meetings. Dr. Glaser’s greatest joy, however, is treating and educating individuals suffering from pain in his busy practice using all the modalities of interventional pain management.
Dr. Glaser has articulated a vision for Interventional Pain Management which he practices every day. That vision is for specialists in this field to be the first physicians to treat patients after musculoskeletal injuries during the subacute phase and to manage all of their care. If the patient’s pain does not respond to conservative care, we are equipped with every minimally invasive procedure and treatment algorithms to treat the sources of their pain. Such a paradigm provides earlier relief, better outcomes, reduces ER visits and hospitalizations, and is the most logic.
