Dr. Serena Laramarie Dovey, MD

Dr. Serena Dovey completed her undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She received her medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard University in Boston.
She went on to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, as well as a certificate degree in clinical research at the University of Pittsburgh. After fellowship, Dr. Dovey joined the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she acted as the Clinical Director of the Fertility Preservation Program and as the fertility preservation liaison for the premenopausal breast cancer program.
Dr. Dovey joined the University of Colorado faculty in 2013. Her clinical interests include infertility, assisted reproductive technology, fertility preservation and amenorrhea.
Dr. Dovey is board certified in …Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She recently published a review about egg freezing in Minerva Ginecologica, which has become one of the top ten most requested papers published in the journal.
In her free time, Dr. Dovey enjoys jogging, yoga, cooking and traveling.
