Dr. Shane Nau is a board-eligible ophthalmologist. His areas of expertise include comprehensive medical ophthalmology and cataract surgery. Dr. Nau completed his undergraduate and Master of Science at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2015 and later received his medical degree also at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019. He completed both his medical internship in Internal Medicine in 2020 along with his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado in 2023. During that time, Dr. Nau received numerous honors, awards, and grants including the President’s Scholar Award, Graduate Experiences for Multicultural Students (GEMS) Scholarship, Bioscience Research Grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, a Biological Research and Training Grant, Biological Science Initiative, and he was a First-Generation Scholar at the University of Colorado Boulder.
