    Dr. Lucas moved to Western North Carolina and joined the staff of Cancer Care of WNC, PA in 1998. Dr. Lucas received her Doctorate degree from the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, going on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the same institution. Dr. Lucas is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
