Dr. Shirley Audrey Fong, MD

Dr. Shirley Fong received her MD degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri in 1998. She completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis from 1998 until 2002. At Memphis, she received the Distinguished Teaching Award.
Dr. Fong undertook subspecialty fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey from 2002 to 2005. Her fellowship research project was focused on the effects of relaxin on matrix metalloproteinase MMP-2 on the cardiac tissues of primates.
Following her training, she worked at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan, NY before joining the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 2007. Currently, she is practicing at the Loma Linda University Center for Fertility and IVF and at the Kaiser Permanente in Fontana. Dr. Fong …is a fellow of the American College of Obstetric and Gynecology and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
