Dr. Stella Kandyba PT, DPT

Dr. Stella Kandyba, the owner of Chance To Advance, LLC, is a Pediatric Physical Therapist licensed in New York (NY license 026941) and New Jersey (NJ license 40QA01394700), with experience serving children in hospital, outpatient, school, daycare and home settings since 2005. She holds degrees of Bachelor/Master of Science in Physical Therapy (BS/MS) with a minor in Child Psychology from Long Island University, NY, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from College of St. Scholastica, MN. She is a Private Practice Section member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a member of the APTA of New Jersey, and a member of PSI CHI The International Honor Society in Psychology. Dr. Stella’s expertise is in treating kids who were born prematurely, as well as kids with ADHD/ADD, ataxia, autism spectrum disorder, Erb’s Palsy, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, down syndrome, genetic conditions, muscular atrophy, neurological impairments, orthopedic conditions, plagiocephaly, …torticollis, traumatic brain injury, and scoliosis. She has also treated kids with abnormal muscle tone, gait abnormalities, balance and coordination problems, joint range of motion restrictions, motor planning problems, low endurance and overall weakness. Married with two wonderful children, she values the importance of family-oriented services. Having advanced training and vast continuing education in treatment of the pediatric population domestically and abroad, she strives to be the best.
