Dr. Fishberger established the Invasive Electrophysiology Program at Miami Children’s Hospital in 2000. The program has grown significantly since its inception and now sustains a 98 percent cure rate for radiofrequency ablation of arrhythmia. Dr. Fishberger’s special talents allow for Miami Children’s Hospital to offer comprehensive cardiac care to the community.
Following the completion of his residency at the Miami Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, Dr. Fishberger went on to complete his cardiology fellowship and sub-specialty training in electrophysiology at the Children’s Hospital Boston. He also performs invasive electrophysiology procedures at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York and Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando. Dr. Fishberger’s research interests include new approaches for pediatric catheter ablation and arrhythmia detection.
