Dr. Strickland is a graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He immediately began his solo practice of family dentistry in Lake Ridge upon graduation from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry in 1990.Â
Dr. Strickland has completed over 600 hours of continuing education courses including the Implant Training Mini Residency Program and is certified to use the Biolase Laser.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Society, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Woodbridge Study Club, and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Strickland was recently recommended in the October 2006 Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Best Dentists in the D.C, Maryland, and Virginia areas.Â
In July 2010, Dr. Strickland received his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General …Dentistry.  This award is presented to individuals who have achieved over 500 hours of continuing education and passed a comprehensive exam covering all aspects of dentistry.  He has been recognized by Northern Virginia Magazine as one of the top cosmetic and general dentists in the area.
