Dr. Sue Ellen Carpenter was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College and the Columbia University School of Medicine. Dr. Carpenter completed training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was attracted to the field of Reproductive Endocrinology when the first IVF babies in the world were born during her training. IVF promised a new way to build families for patients who were previously without options.
