A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Susan Hernandez is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Hernandez graduated from University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine where she received her DMD degree. She completed advanced training in General Practice Residency at the Manhattan Campus of the Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Healthcare System. Dr. Hernandez specialized in Pediatric Dentistry at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center where she enjoys teaching residents the behavioral and pharmacological management of children, pediatric dentistry and the relationships to pediatric medicine. Dr. Hernandez is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Second District Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American …Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
