Susan Kelly, MD, is a board-certified pediatric hematologist and oncologist who has been recognized with multiple national awards and research grants for her groundbreaking clinical research and outstanding patient care in the area of pediatric stem cell transplant and cellular therapy. Dr. Kelly has previously been the medical director for other pediatric cellular therapy programs and served as the director of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has held many research leadership positions at the local and national level. Dr. Kelly has expertise in all types of stem cell transplants for malignant and non-malignant disease, as well as cellular therapies such as CAR T cells. In addition, she is a leader in the field of stem cell transplant and curative therapies for sickle cell disease.
