I am a Canadian trained Obstetrician Gynecologist with over 25 years experience in adolescent health care in Canada, West Indies, Europe and the US. I am also a professional speaker and Edu~Tainment seminar leader (which Educate, Entertain and Empowers audiences) and author of “Teen Spirit”; 55 strategies to help parents talk to their teens about sexuality. Lastly, my recent project with 6 other experts in the field of sexuality included the production of an educational DVD entitled “Teens, Sex & Health” –a comprehensive approach to sexual education.
I am on the Miami Dade School Board’s Speakers Bureau where I am involved in HIV/AIDS presentations. I have served on the board of several community organization including, Miami Dade Alliance for Career Education, Alert Health formerly called Hep-C Alert, Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention and Parenting Council, the Women Emergency Network and the National Heritage Foundation.
At present, I am the medical director of Women & Teens …Healthcare and Alert Health in Miami Florida.
