Dr. Tace Rico, MD

Tace Rico, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and lead physician at AdventHealth Medical Group’s pediatric dermatology practice in Orlando. An award-winning physician and scholar, she specializes in treating children with birthmarks, hemangiomas, port wine stains and scars. She is an expert in laser surgery to address skin conditions and is very sensitive to the concerns of young people with various dermatological disorders. Working with multiple different lasers, she is one of the few dermatologists in the southeast providing laser treatments for scars including burn scars. A graduate of the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine where she was tapped for her distinction in research, she remained at that school for her dermatology residency and a highly specialized fellowship training in dermatitis and pediatric patch testing that sets her apart from most other physicians in her field.
