Dr. Timothy Merle Spiegel, MD

Dr. Timothy Spiegel has been a member of the Arthritis Foundation since 1978. He served on the LA chapter of the foundation as a member of the Medical and Scientific committee. Prior to his membership, Dr. Spiegel attended Duke University and UNC in Chapel Hill Medical School. His fellowship was completed at the UCLA School of Medicine. During his 10 years as full time faculty at UCLA, Dr. Spiegel published over 40 papers and edited the textbook, “Practical Rheumatology.” Dr. Spiegel has been practicing medicine in Santa Barbara for over 25 years. Aside from practicing he is a clinical professor for USC Keck School of Medicine through Cottage Hospital where he teaches residents.
