Toshiki Matsui, D.D.S., P.C.Â
Dr.
Matsui was born in Sapporo, Japan.Â
He grew up in Getzville, N.Y., a suburb of
Buffalo, N. Y.Â
He graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry from
Cornell University.Â
He received his D.D.S. degree from Howard
University College of Dentistry.Â
During dental school, Dr. Matsui was involved
with investigating the relationship between pre-term
birth weight and periodontal disease in the Division
of Periodontics at Columbia University College of
Dental Medicine.Â
Dr. Matsui completed his pediatric dental
specialty training at Howard University College of
Dentistry.Â
During his residency, he investigated the
relationship between BMI and premature eruption of
premolars.Â
Dr. Matsui is a member of the American Dental
Association, Virginia Dental Association, Virginia
Dental Society, and American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry.Â
Dr. Matsui and his family reside in
Haymarket, VA. He enjoys golf, traveling, and
spending time with his son.Â
