    I was born in Iran and moved to the United States during high school. After college and medical school on the East Coast, I moved to Los Angeles for my surgical training. I joined the Kaiser Permanente Plastic Surgery Department in 1992. I am an assistant clinical professor of plastic surgery at USC.
