Dr. Ty A. Hinze

Dr. Ty Hinzegrew up in the gulf coast hills of Brenham, Texas. He then became a “Roo” by attending Austin College of Sherman, Texas where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 2001, double majoring in biochemistry and music. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry/Texas A&M University Systems in 2005 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Loving the Dallas metroplex, he remained at BCD for his residency, working at Children’s Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, which he completed in June 2007 receiving a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ty became Board Certified in 2008 and completed a Masters of Science in Oral Biology in 2010. He currently teaches in the pediatric dental department of BCD. Dr. Ty joined us in 2007 to help when Dr. Kelli started her family. We loved him so much, that we convinced him to become a permanent part of our practice!
In his free time, Dr. Ty enjoys spending time with his wife Erin, reading, watching movies, playing bassoon in area …classical music groups and going to unique restaurants in the Dallas area.
Angelais our business manager.  She is always ready to assist you with anything from setting up future appointments to answering questions about sport sponsorships and everything in-between.  Angela comes to us from the Austin area with several years of medical management experience.  She has been with us since we opened in the beginning of 2002 and is responsible for painting the lovely murals in our office.  In addition to painting, she enjoys golf, tennis, movies and spending time with her family and 2 miniature schnauzers, Beanie and Harry.  She works part-time in the office in order to spend more time with her two young daughters, Finley and Kallan.
Doriis our office manager and has been with Dr. Kelli since the office opened in 2002.  In addition to handling the day to day office issues, she also manages our patient accounts.  So if you have any questions about your account or the office, please give her a call. Dori and her husband, Michael, live in Plano and will be empty-nesters soon.  Their son, Ross, is at Sam Houston State University studying Criminal Justice and their daughter, Kasey, will be at the OU School of Drama starting in the fall of 2011.  They also have two dogs, Angel (a terrier mix) and Bailey (a shih tsu).  Right out of college Dori worked six years as an adult probation officer, then “retired” to stay home with the kids.  When offered the opportunity to come work with Dr. Kelli she decided it was too good to pass up and came out of “retirement”.
Dusty is the newest member of our front office team & one of our “check- out queens”! You can’t miss her because she loves the BLING BLING! She joined our team in September 2010 and plans to stay with us till the end. Dusty actually married her high school sweetheart of 11 years, Scott. They moved from Iowa in 2010 and brought their furry friend. He’s an English bulldog named Moose who loves to wiggle but watch out-he’ll make you giggle! When Dusty is not working in the front office she is loves shopping, spending time with her wonderful family and friends, playing ball with Moose, and exploring the beautiful state of Texas with her husband.
Heatheris one of our hygienists always there to brighten your day as well as your smile.  If your child is a challenge to brush, Heather will be the one to tell them a story to help them never to rush. She graduated in 2003 as a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member from Tyler Junior College Dental Hygiene Program and has been with us since 2004.  Heather is married to Mike and they have two children. Lily is an awesome big sister to little brother Cy. We can’t forget about their dog, Larry. Heather enjoys spending time with her family, camping, fishing, going to the lake and watching Lily play sports.
Katie F.is the newest dental assistant of our team. She joined us in October 2010. Katie may be small and not very tall, but she can’t wait to greet your child with a smile at each recall! She has tons of experience working with kid
