Simple lessons learned during childhood resonated with how I defined myself and what I wanted to achieve in life, creating an impetus to serve and to heal through the field of medicine. Preemptive diagnosis, detection and screening is the paradigm of my Genetics practice, representing one of the most enjoyable aspects of what I do. While the field of genetics is traditionally grounded in Pediatrics, my training in Internal Medicine serves as a unique window into detecting hereditary conditions in the adult population and continuing the surveillance of syndromes originally identified in childhood.
