Dr. Greer, a native of east Tennessee, joined Carilion Clinic in September 2013 after completing his residency and a three-year fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With expertise in minimally invasive treatments for urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, he has served as faculty at UAB since 2010. Dr. Greer has actively participated in several NIH-sponsored landmark surgical trials and published works on various related topics. His clinical interests include vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery, neuromodulation, and complex fistulas. Additionally, he and Dr. Gleason have performed fistula surgery in West Africa for treating obstetrical fistulas.
