Kate Girard is a Registered Dietitian with a Masters degree in Health Science (MHS) and extensive training and experience with maternal and child health, lactation, pediatric nutrition, and generally working with food and/or nutrition insecure individuals. Her motivation to become a dietitian, however, was due to a significant family history with heart and metabolic disease so she has a real passion for prevention of chronic disease using nutrition and lifestyle modifications with people of all ages in her current practice.
