Kent Victor Hasen, MD

Board-certified Fort Myers and Naples area plastic surgeon Kent V. Hasen, M.D. grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1991, he earned undergraduate degrees with highest distinction in Biology, Chemistry and Italian from Indiana University in Bloomington. Dr. Hasen was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor society. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Hasen spent a year studying abroad in Italy at the Universit di Bologna studying Italian art and literature. Dr. Hasen continued to excel in medical school at Cornell University in New York City. He was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received his medical degree in 1995. After medical school, Dr. Hasen was accepted into the extremely competitive general and plastic surgery integrated seven year residency program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. During his residency, Dr. Hasen won several prestigious awards for his presentations of clinical research. Dr. Hasen has been trained in all areas of plastic and …reconstructive surgery, but his true passion is aesthetic surgery. After his residency, he completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship in Miami. In, 2002, Dr. Hasen opened a solo private practice as a plastic surgeon in Naples concentrating on cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. He is an active member in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, which is the leading organization of board-certified plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic surgery. As a Naples cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Hasen stays current with the latest, proven techniques in plastic surgery to help improve patient outcomes, minimize downtime and reduce the appearance of incisions and scars. Over the past several years, his practice has gained in reputation and stature. In fact, Dr. Hasen was named to the top 40 under 40 as one of Southwest Florida’s rising stars in 2006 by Gulfshore Business Magazine. Dr. Hasen also gives back to the community by providing his plastic surgery expertise to uninsured patients needing breast reconstruction and post-cancer skin reconstruction through Bosom Buddies and Collier County’s “We Care” organizations. Dr. Hasen is not only a dedicated physician to his patients, but also a devoted husband and father of 3 wonderful children.
