Kevin Schmidt, MD

Kevin Schmidt, MD, MBA, is double board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain medicine. Dr. Schmidt sees adults in the Denver metro area for spine (cervical, thoracic and lumbar), joint, neuropathic and chronic pain, as well as athletic Injuries.
Dr. Schmidt received his medical degree and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado, where he was the medical class co-president. He completed a pain medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and was chief resident during his time there. Following residency, he completed a pain management fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Schmidt is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society, the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society and the Colorado Pain Society.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Schmidt enjoys fitness, hiking, winter sports (snowboarding, skiing, …telemark) and axe throwing.
