Additionally, she served as supervising acupuncturist to St. Vincent’s Hospital’s Integrative Stress Management Program from 2004-2008, and has volunteered her services with disaster relief organizations and at fund raising events.Lara earned a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2003 from Pacific College of Health Sciences, along with national certification from the NCCAOM. She has additional certifications as a yoga instructor, and from the National Acupuncture Detox Association and Safe Horizons for Community Trauma Response. Lara continually enhances her knowledge in continuing ed courses with specialization in the areas of orthopedics, internal medicine, and their correspondence in the psyche.
