    Lori Wise is a pediatric nurse practitioner who joined the faculty in early 2020. She moved to the area to join the department of Pediatric Endocrinology at Carilion Clinic. She enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults with diabetes. She also enjoys following children and teens for various other endocrine disorders such as growth, pituitary disorders, pubertal concerns, and thyroid disorders. She is involved in the education and teaching of medical residents, nurse practitioner students, and nursing students. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
