Mikala Parker, OTRL, earned her Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Central Michigan University and her Master’s degree in occupational therapy from Grand Valley State University. She has been working in outpatient upper extremity rehabilitation for over 5 years and is interested in pursuing certification in hand therapy. Mikala has experience fabricating orthoses, wound care, treating surgical and non-surgical patients, and collaborating with surgeons to provide comprehensive care to her patients. When Mikala isn’t working, she loves to cheer on the Spartans, eat good food, spend time with her family and dogs, and be active outdoors.
