Myriam is a licensed genetic counselor certified by the American Board of Genetic Counselling. She received her Masters of Science in Human Genetics and her undergraduate degree from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY. Previously she was a Genetics Counselor at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health Network, Beth Israel Medical Center, where she focused on preconception and prenatal counseling. Myriam is also a genetic counseling consultant who specializes in preconception, prenatal and cancer counseling in Hudson County for CarePoint Health. Myriam is fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic. She is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors, the American Board of Genetic Counseling and the American Counseling Association.
