Norma C. Somohano-Mendiola

I am Dr. Norma Somohano -Mendiola. I am a healer educated at the highest level of my profession. I have over 30 years of experience promoting women’s health at all stages of life.  I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing with Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. I graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree and as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I have experience in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Childbirth Education, Fetal Ultrasound and Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Menopause. I am a member of the North American Menopause Society, The Institute for Functional Medicine, The American Association for Anti-Aging, The American College for Obstetricians & Gynecologists and The Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
From childbirth, breast and cervical cancer, and menopause, to sexuality as we age, there are issues that only women face and that …only a woman has experienced.
