Sarah McQuide, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist and the health psychology specialist within the Division of Neuropsychology. After receiving a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology, Dr. McQuide completed an internship at the Denver VA Medical Center and a postdoctoral fellowship, with an emphasis in geropsychology, at the Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System.Dr. McQuide provides cognitive behavioral interventions for patients with neurologic disorders and caregiver support for their family members. Working with individuals as well as with groups, she conducts behavioral treatment for chronic pain and psycho-educational programs to facilitate health-related behaviors.Dr. McQuide is a member of the American Psychological Association, Division 38 (Health Psychology) and Division 12/II (Clinical Geropsychology); the Gerontological Society of America; and the Association of Contextual Behavioral Sciences.
