Shannon LaBoy, M.D., M.S., is a University of Florida assistant professor of neurology and a neurologist at the UF Health Neuroscience Institute in Jacksonville specializing in neuromuscular medicine. She also serves as associate program director for the Neurology Residency Program and clerkship director for University of Florida College of Medicine students rotating in Jacksonville, Florida.Dr. LaBoy received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed an internal medicine internship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, and residency training in neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida. She also completed a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. LaBoy is board-certified in neurology and neuromuscular medicine.
