As the Medical Director of YoungerMeMD, I am a Board Certified Family Practice Physician and recognized specialist in Anti-aging and Functional Medicine. I care deeply about helping patients find health through hormone balancing, personalized nutrition, weight loss, and fitness utilizing the latest testing and treatments available. I work with my patients to improve quality of life. As owner of a medical spa in the Poconos for 10 years, my patients have asked that I introduce cosmetic treatments in our Philadelphia office. Due to this demand, I’ve now added skincare and cosmetic services to my practice. As medical director of YoungerMeMD and BodyLogicMD of Philadelphia, I dedicate my practice to anti-aging, sexual health, preventive medicine, and helping men and women find relief from symptoms of perimenopause, menopause, andropause (the male menopause), adrenal fatigue, and thyroid disorders. I treat Hormonal imbalance, stomach and intestinal disorders, male and female …sexual dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, heavy metal and toxicity disorders, and Neurotransmitter imbalances. I also use 21st century treatments for cancer prevention and heart disease prevention, which are the two biggest threats to long life. I believe in a proactive approach to wellness and use bioidentical hormones to correct underlying hormonal imbalances and custom fitness and nutrition programs coupled with stress reduction techniques to help guide my patients through the aging process. I decided to transition into functional and wellness medicine so I could better provide my patients with the medical care and attention that they both require and deserve. I wanted to step outside of the box that was traditional medicine and exercise a more proactive approach to medicine. I saw the value in holistic alternatives and lifestyle management and how together, they could prove more effective than prescription drugs. Kenneth Varano, D.O. received his undergraduate from New York University in 1989. He then graduated from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. Dr. Varano fulfilled his internship tract at the Long Beach Medical Center/ Mt. Sinai University in 1995. Dr. Varano is a Fellow and Board Certified Member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Varano is also a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
