Brittany Johnson is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP). She graduated with her BSN in 2013 from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She gained her experience as a RN in a variety of settings including mental health. She later earned her DNP as an adult gerontology nurse practitioner (AGACNP) in 2019. As an AGACNP, she worked as a nocturnist in hospital medicine for one year when she realized her passion for mental health. She became dual certified obtaining her post master’s certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2022 from Herzing University. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, …and comprehensive mental health services to all ages. Guided by evidenced-based treatment, provides client-centered care while maintaining strict client confidentiality.
