Donna De Melia

Donna has 17 years of experience as a licensed board-certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She has spent most of her career in primary care providing preventative care as well as diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions including mental health disorders commonly seen in primary care. Her interest in mental health started as a registered nurse working inpatient psychiatric unit and addictions. Since that time clients with various mental health issues and illnesses gravitated toward her for help and treatment. Donna’s passion for helping people with mental health issues and disorders drove her to seek more advanced training and in 2022 she became a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She now dedicates her career to treating mental health illnesses from children to adults. Donna is passionate about helping her clients achieve relief from their suffering, lengthening their longevity of life, and reaching their full health potential. Donna …completed her post-master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (life span) degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She has a holistic style in approach in that a whole person includes physical, mental, spiritual, cultural, and social components. Therapy and treatment centers around the client’s needs and goals. She provides medication management and psychodynamic therapies. Donna also completed her master’s degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at Stockton University in Pomona, New Jersey. She incorporates various aspects of wellness into her practice and can identify medical diseases that impact mental health.
