Dr. Abbas El-Sayed Abbas, MD

Dr. Abbas graduated with honors from Medical School at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his surgical residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania where he also served as Chief Surgical Resident. During this time he completed two post-doctoral research fellowships in both artificial cardiac support (at Penn State University) and gene therapy (at University of Pennsylvania). He then went on to complete a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the Mayo Clinic.
