Located in Venice, Florida, the Dermatology & Laser Institute provides care and treatment for diseases and conditions of the skin, hair and nails. Board certified dermatologist and dermatological surgeon Adam S. Greenberg, M.D. founded the practice in 2001 and has earned a distinguished reputation for the quality of care he provides to his patients. Dermatology Institute received the Readers’ Choice Award presented by the Venice Herald Tribune for Preferred Dermatology Practice — a true testament to the entire team’s dedication to excellence.
A comprehensive dermatology practice, the Institute offers state-of-the-art services in the treatment of skin cancer, dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. In our medical spa clients choose from an array of safe, non-surgical cosmetic procedures that can improve or eliminate unwanted imperfections, rejuvenate their skin and bring back a youthful glow.
Dr. Greenberg is a specialist in Mohs Micrographic Surgery for …the treatment of certain common types of skin cancer. Mohs surgery is an exacting procedure performed through microscopic examination and requires demonstrated skill and training with specialty board certification.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Greenberg is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, and the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. Dr. Greenberg retains membership in the American Medical Association and the Sarasota County Medical Society.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, Dr. Greenberg attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He earned his medical degree in 1992. Dr. Greenberg interned at Hahnemann University Hospital, later serving a two year fellowship in dermatology wound healing at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Miami in 1998. Throughout his education and career, Dr. Greenberg has been acknowledged for his academic excellence, and is widely published in peer reviewed journals.
