Dr. Ahmad Idris

Ahmad Idris, MD, is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, and fellowship-trained in gastroenterology and hepatology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Damascus in Syria and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Fairview Health System in Ohio. Dr. Idris’s clinical interests include capsule endoscopy, advanced treatments for inflammatory bowel disease (including Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis), Hepatitis C, stomach disorders, esophageal function testing, colonoscopy and stenting, as well as the use of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to diagnose and treat disorders of the biliary or pancreatic ductal systems.
