Dr. Alan Dietzek is the Chief of Vascular Surgery and holds the Linda and Stephen R. Cohen Chair in Vascular Surgery at Danbury Hospital. In addition he directs the fully accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory and the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. A fellowship-trained vein specialist, Dr. Dietzek’s areas of expertise include:
– Minimally invasive treatment of venous disease (varicose veins, swelling, venous ulcers, etc)
– Minimally invasive endovascular/percutaneous techniques for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
– Repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA)
– Thoracic aortic aneurysms
– Peripheral vascular disease
– Renal artery disease
– Visceral artery aneurysms
– Thoracic outlet syndrome
– DVT (ileofemoral) clot removal (pharmacomechanical thrombolysis)
