Dr. Alexander Wiseman, MD

Alexander Wiseman, MD, FAST, is a board-certified nephrologist specializing in transplant medicine. He sees patients in the Denver area for kidney transplant evaluation and management, immunosuppression, dialysis, chronic kidney disease and hypertension.
Dr. Wiseman was called to a career in medicine after a family experience with immune disorders, particularly Type 1 diabetes. His greatest satisfaction is the opportunity to help individuals live a long and satisfying life while managing the complexities of the immune system. His practice is focused on increasing access to transplant care and providing individualized personal care.
Dr. Wiseman received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of California San Francisco and a nephrology fellowship at the University of Colorado. He’s a fellow of the American Society of Transplantation (FAST) and a member of the American Society of Nephrology …and the National Kidney Foundation.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Wiseman enjoys hiking, traveling, reading nonfiction, cooking and watching Denver area sports.
