I am a board-certified surgeon with clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating breast cancer. I am investigating the use of exercise to help control weight gain in women who are undergoing chemotherapy and to help prevent lymphedema in women. I am also involved in training young physicians in ways to communicate with patients and their families in a sensitive and productive manner.
