Alexis Beckford LMSW is a licensed social worker and therapist in the state of Georgia and founder of The Zen Den Counseling and Wellness. She has several years of experience working with young people within communities, hospitals, nonprofits, private practices, and residential treatment settings. Alexis specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults who are dealing with a range of concerns including depression/mood disorders, anxiety disorders, self-harm, behavioral challenges, suicidal ideation, trauma, or attachment concerns to name a few. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Master’s in Social Work, as well as a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy all from the University of Georgia. She is currently working on the completion of her doctorate in Clinical Social Work, expected May 2026. Alexis assists children, teens, young adults, and families with working through a range of mental health, behavioral, emotional, and …relational challenges that have impacted individual clients or their family units.
