Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Alina M. Galliano – Pardo, M.D. completed her medical school and residency training at University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Galliano – Pardo has been practicing psychiatry for over fifteen years and has diagnosed and treated thousands of patients. She is a Fellow in both the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She is one of few private practice psychiatrists on Florida’s First Coast who is board certified in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine and is the only female. She had extensive experience working with acute psychiatric and addiction patients in inpatient, private, and state psychiatric facilities early on in her career. Since 2011, Dr. Galliano – Pardo has dedicated her time to her private practice and supervising the treatment of hundreds of patients in Wekiva Springs Beaches Center’s Intensive Outpatient program as their …Medical Director. She has served as president of the medical staff for hospitals in both Florida and Georgia with a specialty in Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. She treats many disorders, such as, depression, anxiety/ panic disorders, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. As a part of her treatment plan, she provides medication management for psychiatry and addiction disorders (MAT) combined with psychotherapy. She is trained to evaluate and administer deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (dTMS), an FDA-cleared and effective therapy for treatment resistant Major Depressive Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
