Dr. Ameet Shirish Daftary, MD

Dr. Daftary is board certified in pediatric pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine. He completed his medical school training at the University of Bombay in India, followed by a pediatric residency at Michigan State University, pediatric pulmonary fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Utah. Dr. Daftary completed a master of science in epidemiology during his fellowship in Cincinnati and his research interests focus on the nature and prevalence of sleep disorders in children. Dr. Daftary was the director of the pediatric sleep medicine program at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City for 4 years before coming to Austin. Dr. Daftary is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
