Dr. Merchant works closely with his pediatric colleagues at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, providing pediatric orthopedic care in the ultimate children’s environment. Dr. Merchant cares for children from birth to adolescence, with a special area of focus on scoliosis, hip dysplasia, neuromuscular disorders, angular deformities, sports related injuries and pediatric trauma.
Dedicated to giving back and making a positive difference in the wider world, Dr. Merchant has volunteered to benefit underserved communities, traveling as a member of an overseas medical camp team in Puttaparthi, India; Georgetown, Guyana; Moscow, Russia; and Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
