Dr. Amon T. Ferry is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with extensive training in surgery of the knee and shoulder. He utilizes a shared decision-making model with patients, thoroughly discussing diagnosis and exploring various treatment options. Dr. Ferry is trained in minimally invasive techniques and specializes in arthroscopic procedures such as rotator cuff repair, knee ligament reconstruction, and shoulder replacement. He attended medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Ferry later completed fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at Harvard Sports Medicine Service in Boston where he also worked with the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins. Dr. Ferry currently works with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Mariners. He is very active in research and has been published in orthopedic journals and …text-books. Dr. Ferry is a member of numerous medical organizations.
