Andreja Packard, MD, PhD is an attending physician in the neurology and sleep medicine departments at the University of Vermont Medical Center, and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Packard’s research interests include sleep consolidation as therapeutic modality of chronic disorders, chronotherapy of neurological disorders, chronopharmacology of neurological disorders, gender disparities in fatigue and sleepiness levels, optimization of sleepiness, monitoring, shift work and jet lag, and circadian rhythm disorders. Her published research can be found here.
Dr. Packard sees her job as helping patients get the most out of life through better sleep. She knows it is not easy to open up and share personal stories and concerns, and so she is honored that her patients are willing to do so when they come to her clinic for a consultation. She strives to be honest in helping patients make decisions about their care, while also respecting …their preferences, and her hope is that every patient leaves their visit feeling that they’ve had their concerns and questions addressed and answered.
