Dr. Anita Fleenor-Ford, MD

Originally from central Kentucky, Dr. Fleenor-Ford attended Western Kentucky University with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. Subsequently, she completed medical school at the University of Louisville then completed her residency in Internal Medicine in Chicago. Finally, Dr. Fleenor-Ford completed a subspecialty fellowship in Infectious Disease, also in Chicago. She moved to Paducah in 1998 after accepting an offer to become Medical Director of a then newly funded HIV outpatient facility, Heartland Clinic. Dr. Fleenor-Ford is a partner in a private practice and continues to provide outpatient care at the same HIV clinic today, along with inpatient care at both Baptist Health Paducah and Lourdes Hospitals in Paducah.She is married to Dr. Halden Ford, a Dermatologist, with whom she has 2 children.
