Dr. Anthony K. Ahn, MD

Dr Ahn was born and raised in New York City. He received an undergraduate and medical degree from Brown University. He then completed an orthopaedic residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases/ NYU combined program. Dr Ahn also completed an additional year of training in hand surgery at the Tufts/ New England Baptist Hospital program.
He started his career at Cedars Sinai before moving down to the South Bay in 2008. Since that time, he has been in private practice, and also involved in teaching hand surgery and orthopaedic surgery techniques to the next generation of surgeons at Harbor UCLA hospital, where he serves as the Chief of Hand Surgery for the Department of Orthopaedics.
December 2020 marked the start of his own solo private practice to try to improve the patient experience. A small, attentive office was the model, and we hope to provide not only the best care, but a great overall patient experience from check in to check out. Technology is utilized to simplify the …process of getting in touch with the staff— there are multiple options including email, fax, and text.
In any spare time, Dr Ahn loves to surf, snowboard and play tennis, and understands what it will take to get you back to the activities you love.
