Dr. Harahsheh joined Childrens National in September 2008 as a full-time attending. Dr. Harahsheh completed his fellowship training at the Childrens Hospital of Michigan, Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Harahsheh is board certified in pediatric cardiology, a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Harahsheh received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Jordan-College of Medicine, Amman, Jordan. He completed his residency at Childrens Hospital of Michigan, Detroit, Michigan. His primary interests include: Atrial Flutter/Fibrillation in children with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, the cardiac function in Anthracycline-Treated Children, and the use of B-type Natriuretic peptide as a marker for worsening cardiac function. Dr. Harahsheh plays a major role in teaching fellows outpatient and inpatient medicine. Dr. Harahsheh was named among the 2010 Whos Who in America and Americas …Top Pediatricians.
