Dr. Avindra Nath

Dr. Nath, a renowned neurologist and researcher, began his distinguished career in medicine with an MD degree from Christian Medical College in India, obtained in 1981. His postgraduate journey led him to the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he completed a residency in Neurology. Dr. Nath further specialized through a fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neurovirology, followed by a fellowship in Neuro-AIDS at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). His academic career flourished with faculty positions at the University of Manitoba from 1990 to 1997 and the University of Kentucky from 1997 to 2002.
