Dr. Barbara S. Stonestreet, MD

Barbara S. Stonestreet, MD is a professor of pediatrics at The Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is a staff neonatologist and director of the Fellowship Program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Women & Infants and Brown. She is a graduate of New York University and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Stonestreet continued her training in pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine and Boston University School of Medicine and completed her fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Brown/Women & Infants Hospital. Dr. Stonestreet has been listed in Best Doctors in America and has served on the National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development Study Section and Brain Injury and Neurovascular Pathologies (BINP) Study Section. She is a reviewer for more than 50 peer reviewed journals and is a member of the Society for Pediatric Research, Perinatal Research Society, American Pediatric Society, Society for Neuroscience, and the Society for Gynecologic …Investigation.
